Children who live in substance abusing families or families with other serious problems often develop ways to cope that inhibit healthy development. In order to address the problems of these children, our Program for Infants & Chilren (PIC) is offered on-site at Serenity Place, through the Phoenix Center's licensed day care center, Circle of Friends.

Children from 6 weeks of age up to preschool may be assessed for this service. Those living in residential treatment with their mothers at our women's residential facility, Serenity Place, receive priority placement. Limited space and transportation are available for children living in the community of Greenville County.

Treatment provided for the children is focused on reducing developmental delays and other high-risk factors through an evidence based curriculum and parent-child bonding activities.

The Program for Infants and Children is located at Serenity Village - 6 Dunean Street, Greenville, SC  29611
