Resource Center
The Prevention Resource Center is a library offering alcohol, tobacco, drug information, parenting techniques, skills for building self-esteem, positive peer pressure, and other resources dealing with community prevention issues.
The center has brochures, pamphlets, posters and other free materials for the public. Emphasizing a risk and protective factor approach to prevention programming, the Resource Center provides services which target a wide range of inter-related problems including alcohol and other drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, violence reduction and community norms which support negative behaviors.
The center is able to provide current statistical data, up-to-date publications, and research.
