The Greenville County Youth Board (GCYB) is made up of youth (rising 9th- 12th graders) from area Grenville County High Schools who are willing to be leaders for prevention efforts in the community and among their peers.

The GCYB works to create a change in youth, enhance their school's prevention programs, as well as provide a youth voice to community awareness around the areas of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.  They accomplish these objectives through awareness campaigns, community activities, and leadership among their peers.   The youth board meets on a regular basis to work on group initiatives, leadership skills, alcohol and other drug awareness, and to plan school and community events.

The GCYB year runs from July-May and meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Phoenix Center in Greenville (1400 Cleveland St) from 5:00pm-6:30pm.

If you would like to apply to be on the 2022-2023 GCYB, please use the link below to fill out the application.
