In an effort to increase public safety measures in the transportation industry, the Department of Transportation (DOT) has established federal guidelines for employers and employees as it relates to alcohol and other drug use and safety-sensitive positions.

The Phoenix Center has designed services to meet the specific needs of these businesses. The overall goal of the Phoenix Center’s DOT program is to help employers prevent alcohol or other drug use at the job site, reduce workplace accidents, and to restore individuals who have violated the alcohol and other drug policy to return to safety sensitive duties.

The Phoenix Center offers:

• Substance Abuse Professional Assessment by a DOT Qualified Counselor
• DOT drug test referral
• In-house treatment services
• Follow-up testing schedule
