To make an OBI referral, please call (864) 467-3737.

The Phoenix Center is here to provide treatment services for people referred by the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.

The Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services refers people to The Phoenix Center who have any of the following:

  • A drug related offense
  • A history of positive drug screens while on probation or parole
  • Received an unsuccessful discharge from the 8-week Alcohol and Drug Education Program offered at the probation office
  • Been enrolled in Treatment Services through Greenville County Detention Center

Once a client is referred to our Offender Based Intervention Program (OBI), they will complete intake paperwork, receive a clinical assessment by a specifically trained counselor, and will then start treatment at level of care determined through the assessment process. All client activity is communicated to the Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services on a regular basis.

The cost of the OBI program is based on level of care needed.
